If it is any use, I did have a very similar issue downloading the latest Overwatch update through Battle. Of course I can't do that this time because that would cost a fair bit of money. I have tried the download on my laptop with the same wireless connection and it experiences the same issue. I have downloaded games with Uplay successfully in the past on my laptop. My desktop is only a week old and I have not used it to download anything from Uplay previously. This time, however, my laptop is having the same issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can use this as a temporary fix to download games, however I am still seeking a more permanent fix. I am also worried that perhaps this means I will have trouble with in-game connectivity. They gave me several things to do such as run as administrator and router port mapping of which none of it worked. Their response was if you won't do that then we can't help you anymore. My response was if Ubisoft didn't get someone to log in to my system within 7 days I will delete every Ubisoft product on my system and never purchase or acquire another Ubisoft product ever again. Their customer service support is the absolutely the worst I've ever seen from any company in over 20 years. This is a company that nobody should do business with. I can give one more solution that used to work for me but doesn't any longer. Ubisoft has something strange with their servers. Until its fixed I just can't justify future purchases. Nothing helps This seemed to start maybe 3 weeks ago, before that uplay would always hit my max as well There is definitely a problem with Uplay download speed. I have no idea what is wrong. Windows 10 Top - like every one of you- likes freewares, however sometimes the good value is not for free. I ended up giving up as they were again, utterly and totally useless. We love games, no matter what kind of effects can have.
